AI
The level of confidence that an AI answers my questions is too high.
I was asking Chat GPT questions concerning a problem with a very specific piece of software. I needed the software to email when I created a new user.
That GPT gave me a solution on how to do this, a very specific solution, answered very confidently.
The solution did not work.
I told CHAT GPT this, and it said sorry, gave me a new answer, and again with great confidence.
This did not work either.
The problem was not the software; the problem was Chat GPT. The software I was using could NOT send an email when a new user was created; it did not have the capacity to do such a thing.
Chat GPT took my questions and assembled an answer using information about software in general and how software might send an email to new users. Then Chat GPT put together the words to show how my software would send an email to new users. Not might send an email, or could send an email, but would.
Chat GPT has been programmed to give answers with confidence.

AI do not have doubt
Watch a Sci-Fi movie with a robot or android in it, and the question of emotions will arise.
Emotions are presented as something that does not exist but is just brain chemistry; to emotions are the spiritual expression of our spiritual self into the physical world, as is intelligence.
Generally, Sci-Fi does not like to consider the spiritual, so my second answer would not be present in the movie.
There is no emotion with an AI, be it confidence, doubt, confusion, uncertainty or hope.
An AI is a Program
Artificial Intelligence has no language, like you and I.
Artificial Intelligence just has numbers, and even those numbers end up as ones and zeros.
AI is a great example that if they can not blind you with brilliance, they will baffle you with bullshit.
The “they” is mainstream media with a news article on AI that is patently false and designed to create anxiety. Or a YouTube video full of doom for your job that is clickbait. Or the government speaking gloom, because that’s what governments do.
Beware FUD. Fear, Uncertainty, Doubt.
Just as we need to understand how money works, it’s not a bad idea to understand technology as well.
The thing about a computer is that it is a moron, a very fast moron so it appears intelligent. For example a computer can easily add and subtract, but it can not multiply to divide. To multiply or divide it either looks up a cheat sheet, or runs a very complicated process to guess an answer. That is why, in some situations, if you ask a computer to do 10 × 10 ÷ 4, you might get 24.999999999.
Computers can end up failing to be able to do some of the most simple of things, but because they can do many things very fast, they appear amazing.
In all things computer, they are fast morons.
AIs & Money
A problem with AIs and money is that they operate on the millisecond lever when you and I operate on the Minute, Hour, and Day.
AIs in finance have been able to make millions in seconds and lose millions in seconds before they got closed down.
Companies that use AIs in the Money market or Stock Markets put rules in place because AIs can get into a feedback loop, something like the screech in a sound system, and lose the company millions.
It is not hard to understand what an AI really is.
It is not hard to understand what money really is.
We need to educate ourselves, discern when we are being fed FDU, ignore it, and gain good information sources.
Here us a good chanel for this. https://www.youtube.com/@HowMoneyWorks
Don't fear AI, use it.
Don’t fear Money, use it.
AI is targeting you. All the ads you see are now being curated for you because of you. Even this line of text I just wrote is being curated by an AI, so I say this to you in the most direct and understandable way possible.
I want you to know you are being targeted and to provide you with tools so that you do not become a victim of that targeting.
AI can be used for good.
Money can be used for good.
Money is not the root of all sorts of evil; the love of it is.
How do we use Money Well?
- Live beneath your income, not beyond it.
- Learn to ignore the “you deserve that” demon on your left shoulder.
- Don’t go to the supermarket hungry. Choose ahead of time not to buy anything in the checkout aisle.
- Don’t let your children choose what you’re going to buy.
- AIs have already tarkged your child, have already primed them the put things in your shopping barsket, and will quickly throw a hissy fit if they do not get what they want.
- If you do take your children grocery shopping, prime them ahead of time that a reward will be available if they behave.
