Christmas 2024
2024 Merry Christmas & Happy New Year 2025
Greetings everyone!
We hope you are able to sit and take time to enjoy this time of year with family and friends.
We are currently in New Zealand. Tony is catching up with customers, and we both get to spend time with family.

We left Kona at the end of August and made our way to Manila, Philippines.
We celebrated with 4500 other YWAM staff from around the world at an international conference in the first week of September.
What a great time to see how God is using people in every part of the world. There were so many stories to hear across at least four different generations that now make up YWAM.
As our founder, Loren Cunningham has said before, “Jesus is winning!”. His statement is true! Even while we were in Manila, we got to reconnect with Far East Broadcasting, who we used to work with in New Zealand.

Manila, Cebu, Surigao.
From Manila, we spent a few weeks with staff and students at Frontier Missions in Cebu City (https://fmcebu.ywamphilippines.org). While in Cebu, we also connected with the Cebu House of Prayer (https://ywamchop.org). We then flew to Surigao City.
This is where we worked together years ago and got married 37 years ago (https://surigao.ywamphilippines.org). We stayed at the YWAM base to encourage and train staff in building a website. Helping YWAM bases in the Philippines make better use of technology was the main purpose of going to the Philippines. We are currently working on ten Base websites and a number of websites for individual people, with the idea of getting people up to speed to manage the websites themselves. Davao was another website we started on, and this one was remote. (https://davao.ywamphilippines.org).
Surigao was such a sweet time to catch up with long-time friends and made new ones.
We faced some visa issues, yet we had a successful time overall.
Malaysia, Singapore, New Zealand.
We spent a couple of restful weeks in Malaysia and then to YWAM Singapore. We connected with the staff involved with the communications department there, with the idea of helping them in the future.
The YWAM base was able to offer us hospitality and was close to street food restaurants, which was nice.
From Singapore, we made our way to Auckland via Sydney.
Landing in Auckland, New Zealand, we spent one night near the airport, and the next day, we took a 4-hour bus to Tauranga. We got to stay with two sets of dear friends while there. Tararuga was hosting the Oceania Hui, The Hui was a delightful gathering of all the island nations around the Pacific. We had a good time reuniting with old YWAM friends and met more. It was awesome to see the next generation taking up the challenge to go out in the world for Jesus!
We scored a nice used car at Turner’s Caryard.
We visited Tony’s brother and sister as we traveled to Masterton in the south of the north island.
End of Year
Again, we stayed with good friends who love us and don’t mind us around. Yet we were on the lookout for a semi-permanent place to stay while we are in New Zealand. We are thankful for new friends who are open to us staying in their cottage on their farm in Masterton.
It’s been great so far catching up with many of you in New Zealand. Let’s see what this new year brings both near and far.
We are thankful for God’s provision as we journey with Him.
May God’s presence never leave you.
To each new chapter of your life, may the Lord grant you His grace and strength.
Happy New Year!
Tony & Christine
