As followers of Jesus, we believe that prayer changes things. And the thing prayer changes the most is us.
Prayer is not about giving God a shopping list.
Prayer is about becoming aware of the needs around us, the answers already available, and the new answers God will bring.
When we pray for others we need to ask God, “What would you say though me?”
And if God gives you something, with humility, kindness, and gentleness pass it on.
As we build our websites, we have a unique opportunity to pray for friends, new and old. To partner with people that come into our lives and see how we can help them. Our websites create engagement.
This is not us looking to them for answers to our financial needs, but rather having this attitude that was in Jesus, he did what he did without seeing a reward. He did what he did out of love. We get to do the same thing.
In working on this Give plugin, we want to equip you with tools to become people of prayer, people who build partnerships, and people who bring in others to partner with you in your ministry of the Gospel. And this does mean financial partners.
Financial partners need to be a happy side effect and not the goal. The goal is for us all to be built up in what God is calling us to. This is why I am investing in you, I want you to succeed.
