The We Need to Read

So Jesus was saying to those Jews who had believed Him,

“If you continue in My word, then you are truly disciples of Mine; and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.” John 8:31

But how do you get to know the truth?

It takes effort.

To read well is a skill.

It’s worth the effort.

TL;DR

If you know what this means, I hope you keep reading.

I love watching YouTube videos and listening to podcasts, but I also read and I also write.

I want to turn the information I have into knowledge.

I want to turn the good knowledge into understanding.

And the good understanding into generational wisdom, something that will be useful to you.

I want to help you go from being a serf scratching out an existence to becoming an owner of fields, and then you help others become owners of their fields.

It is sad to think that our literate capacity did not last long, for today, we have become illiterate literate people.

The Fall

It is sad to think that our literate capacity did not last long, for today, we have become illiterate literate people.

We might be able to read.

But we do not read.

We can navigate our world of signs and instructions, headlines, and tic-tok titles, but we watch, we do not read.

And in being an illiterate literate people, we have once again become the serfs of a new band of techno noblemen, scratching out an existence in their fields, becoming their property, reduced to working on their terms.

All because we are once again illiterate.
