Why Baby Quilts?

During my time here working at the University of the Nations  I kept noticing all the young married couples here from all different countries serving the Lord.

When they were expecting a new baby they had no close family near by to encourage them. I felt the Lord say to me, “Make them a baby quilt.”  So I have been doing this ministry over the 7 years that we have been here. 

It delights me to give a home made gift to the couple welcoming their new baby. This gift brings us closer to each family.  The materials come from different sources. 

God shows me every time who the quilts will be gifted to.  It’s fun to see how God makes the connections.
