Gaining New Skills
I had this conversation the other day.
When you are learning a new skill from someone, it is the FIRST time.
How many times has the teaching taught this skill? HUNDREDS!
We have poor thinking that makes us think that the first time we learn a new skill, we should be at the same level as the trainer.
This is why I insist that anything I teach you, I do not expect you to then KNOW it. I expect that you will ask questions I have previously answered.
Knowledge does not come from hearing once.
Don’t be put off by the need for repitition.
